Overview:
A diverse role for a Web Portal Manager based in Bristol managing the online services and proposition for a key division with a major international blue-chip corporation.
Working with many stakeholders in the business you will own and manage the online proposition at a strategic level, also acting as the primary business owner at a tactical level, making sure online services are delivered day-to-day.
On an ongoing basis you will pro-actively assess market trends and the needs of the distributor network, and implement changes to the online proposition as necessary. You should be a confident communicator, able to manage and influence virtual teams and manage positive relationships with suppliers and partner organisations.
You should have experience of the online environment in particular portals and / or e-commerce platforms, and understand some of the technical issues associated with managing change. If you have marketing and communications experience this could be useful, as might any understanding of the financial services sector and FSA regulations.
You could be working in online marketing or perhaps in a more technical or web project management position, and will relish the challenge of this combines strategic and tactical position.
