Overview:

A challenging and varied role working for a niche retail company, joining a marketing team and taking specific responsibility for supporting the marketing activity of stores throughout the UK.

You will work with a range of media including leaflets, advertising, PR events and web, working closely with stores to maximize the effectiveness of local marketing activity whilst managing local marketing budgets.

Travelling regularly throughout the UK you will understand local markets, targeting activity and measuring campaigns on an ongoing basis and handling ad-hoc or one-off events and promotions for store openings, special events and promotions.

Additionally you will manage the development of reciprocal arrangements with local companies and think creatively how to use the budget to improve the reputation and profitability of retail outlets.

The nature of the role means you need to be flexible, responding to a range of requests from stores, so should enjoy turning your hand to various tasks

You will have marketing experience that has given you a broad range of skills and a flexible outlook, and you will enjoy a role that is both varied and challenging.
