Overview:
Are you highly proficient with.Net and other MS software to develop websites and software? This role is specifically for the education market so any experience of e-learning would be a bonus but is not essential. You will form part of a fast-growing and large team across three sites. There are two roles – one full-time in Bristol and another for 6 months in Birmingham and then in Bristo.The company will also fully support you to gain Microsoft certification.
You will be a skilled Developer able to fully design a project solution using.NET 2.0, ASP.NET using C# in Visual Studio.NET, SQL Server 2000 and 2005 design and development, XML, XSLT and Web Services. Any knowledge also of AJAX, UML and Technical Design, CSS, Build automation / scheduling software (NAnt, MSBuild and CruiseControl.NET), other web platforms / technologies such as PHP / MySQL would be a bonus but are not essential.
You also need to show that you have team management skills, if not experience of this already
Your portfolio will demonstrate a full understanding of the product lifecycle, code writing ability, bug fixing, large scale product development, technical advice and project management.
