Overview:
A role in Gloucestershire working for a friendly and professional data and direct marketing company, offering data support and database marketing services for clients throughout the UK. A great opportunity to develop a successful analysis / data marketing career.
You should have strong analytical skills and consider yourself a numerate and ambitious candidate. You will have great attention to detail and be prepared to ‘go the extra mile’ to finish projects on-time. Your communication skills will be first-class, and you will be confident conveying ideas to a non-technical audience.
We’re not looking for many years of experience, so you might have some work after graduating, or perhaps a relevant placement or even just academic studies that will have equipped you for this role. You should have a numerate mind and a degree or equivalent in a subject with maths / statistics components e.g. maths, statistics, computer programming, management sciences, marketing etc.
The company works with a range of clients running marketing databases and supporting marketing campaigns and as a junior analyst you will be managing their functionality, maintaining databases, reporting, running selections etc. Any experience of working with databases would be useful, as would any experience of Access or SQL and an interest in learning new software.
The role would suit someone who wants to consider the broader uses of data and become interested in marketing campaigns as well as working directly with clients, so an inquisitive mind and a flexible adaptable outlook are essential.
