Overview:
Working as part of the e-Studio for this leading international provider of educational services you will oversee the instructional design of new electronic products.
The diverse and demanding role requires you to oversee a team of e-Producers ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to provide a high level product and drive the development of e-publishing across the business.
You will be accountable for the design and usability of all products and ensure they are delivered on time and on budget and to the highest quality. Identifying market need and trends and providing input into costings and the technical knowledge required to develop products to meet the trends will also be of huge advantage to the department.
You will monitor e-product development across the business and ensure consistency both in quality and workflow processes.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, a thorough understanding of educational technology is required and an appreciation of the issues faced by teachers/lecturers.
The position demands a number of year's commercial experience ideally in the electronic education environment. Also a good knowledge of the UK education system and the factors which influence schools choice of educational content.
