Our people

Here are some of Gallery’s Key People -

William is a Director of Gallery Resources and has been working in marketing and creative recruitment since 1998. Will has a degree in Marketing and French and is an avid football fan, a regular at The New Lawn, and currently enjoying watching Forest Green Rovers actually do quite well in the Conference. Will’s media: Radio Five Live, National Geographic and Sky Sports. Although good at watching sport, success at competing has been limited to a couple of seasons in the Stroud Table Tennis League (second division, Forest Green ‘B’ Team). Can be seen from time to time in his local, The King’s Head, France Lynch.

Joanne is Director and founder of Gallery. Another graduate in Marketing and French Joanne actually began her career at a marketing agency in Paris, and completed her agency career at a senior level in a Birmingham advertising agency. Joanne is passionate about healthy food, and she’s a great cook. She loves her shoes and is having an extension built at home just to house her collection. Joanne’s Media: Desperate Housewives, food magazines and cook books. We’re told Joanne was a bit of a swot at school and her mother still proudly displays a collection of her certificates for good attendance.

Sarah is our Office Manager, Queen of Designer handbags and font of all automotive knowledge. Providing IT expertise and kind advice (with the occasional kick up the backside) Sarah is the central point of our smooth running office and creative freelance desk. Sarah loves F1 (McLaren) and has a season ticket at Gloucester Rugby. It’s like having a little bit of The Shed in the office every day. With a love of rabbits Sarah also runs her local village cricket team with an iron fist. Sarah’s Media: Grazia, Pop Concerts (faded 80’s bands only please, yes, you Duran Duran), and News of the World (bought and hidden inside The Times).

Kelly works in a team with Heather. Kelly is a chocoholic. Looking at her you wouldn’t believe it, but we’ve seen a super-large Galaxy bar reduced to nothing in seconds. She follows Man U (that wasn’t on her CV) and likes Dirty Dancing (the film), Forrest Gump and Mrs. Doubtfire. She has a strange phobia of cows after one poked its head through the kitchen window when her Mum was washing her in the kitchen sink (age 2), and amazingly, she is exactly the same age as Prince William! Media: Theatre, Eastenders, Spooks, Grand Designs, Radio 1, Ugly Betty, Planet Earth. Ambition: to swim with dolphins.

Matt has worked in marketing and recruitment for many years. Recently he worked in accountancy recruitment and amazingly is still awake to tell the tale. He loves Ipswich Town, so if you show him a Delia Smith Cookery book, or anything Canary Yellow, he visibly wilts like Superman with a lump of kryptonite. From time to time he visits The Emirates Stadium, and sees the future for The Tractor Boys! His kitchen inspiration is Jamie Oliver, he runs half marathons (hopes to do a real one soon), has a cute Border Collie (clearly a very fit dog), boxes, and goes to the pub. Media: Five Live, Guardian (print and online), BBC Online and Sky Sports.

Heather is a gregarious graduate in Sociology and Psychology and helps the consultants in all areas of their work. She goes to Pilates every week, and is thinking about starting Yoga (watch this space to see if it happens!). She loves bands and festivals, but unlike Sarah she likes cool bands (ones that people over 30 haven’t heard of) like Foo Fighters and Smashing Pumpkins. Heather speaks and reads fluent Chinese (if it’s on a Chinese menu, she can translate it). Media: Family Guy, Sporanos, Masterchef and Hollyoaks. She aspires to throwing fantastic dinner parties. Her inspiration is Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and her dream to live at River Cottage.
